Hoser Horror: Killer Party & Prom Night with Amanda Reyes

This time on Hoser Horror, Carlo and Dan welcome Amanda Reyes from the incredible Made For TV Mayhem blog and podcast to talk about two of her favourite Canadian horror movies from two major Canadian talents. First up, we cover another Paul Lynch classic with Prom Night from 1980. Then, we discuss another William Fruet movie with the 80s slasher-comedy-supernatural-shocker hybrid Killer Party (1986).

What makes these two entries in the slasher cannon so different, yet entirely memorable? What lasting impression did these two films leave on Amanda when she first saw them? How do they speak to the female friendships that anchor both movies? All of this and much more on our new episode!

Don't forget to follow Amanda Reyes on Twitter, check the Made for TV Mayhem blog out, and listen to the Made for TV Mayhem podcast as well.

A new episode of Notes From the Back Row will be released every other week. If you have a new movie premiering, drop us a line – we might be interested in setting something up with you too!
