Ep# 36 - Hoser Horror: Phone Murder by Death Ship (with Paul Corupe)

New year, new us! Well, not really - it’s time for another episode of Hoser Horror with Carlo and Dan. Paul Corupe (of Canuxploitation) joins us again to discuss two notable tax shelter era horror movies featuring inanimate objects as murderers. Don’t pick up the phone, because it might toss you across the room and kill you as we discuss Murder by Phone (1982). Watch out when boarding that ship, because not only is it a Nazi ship, it might try and dunk your head in the water. That’s right, we also discuss Death Ship (1980) starring George Kennedy.

Why are these two films so notable for Paul? Is Murder by Phone a Jaws movie but with a phone instead of a shark? Find out this and more in our latest episode!

A new episode of Notes From the Back Row will be released every other week. If you have a new movie premiering, drop us a line – we might be interested in setting something up with you too!
